Meet the Band

Travis Riker – Lead Vocal

Travis Riker, an Indiana native, moved to Atlanta in 2000 and began his musical journey under the influence of his musically talented parents. His mother, Ann, is a singer and piano player, while his father has been a lead singer in a cover band and a member of a gospel quartet for most of his adult life. Travis initially took up the drums, playing for his dad’s quartet and his church praise band, which produced an album before it became trendy. While he sang at church and school, his passion remained with the drums.

In 2007, Travis met Sammy Powell and Denny Meier, who were looking for a lead singer for their band. Encouraged by his wife, Sally, who also works in the engineering field, Travis stepped up as the lead singer while continuing to play the drums. As the original “Odd Man” in Odd Man Out, he brought a unique dynamic to the band, being the only non-engineer in the original lineup. Travis’s musical influences span from Led Zeppelin to Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots, showcasing his diverse rock ‘n’ roll roots. In 2019, he recorded three songs in Nashville, now available under his full name on all major streaming platforms. You can find him here on Spotify or iTunes.
